Frontend design – your web application in an elegant and convincing dress
It’s finally time for “beautiful” web applications
Beauty isn’t everything – that’s right! The inner values are also primarily important for a modern online application. Nevertheless, the trend towards elegant “responsive” web applications is currently on the rise. After all, who trusts an “ugly” interface? Our surveys have shown that, particularly in the e-banking sector, many customers prefer to trust “beautiful” and “light and airy” portals rather than online interfaces with a rudimentary and functional design. We are currently developing a responsive web application for our client Immolane that is not only visually impressive: The application has the same look and feel on iPhones, iPads and other mobile devices as it does on desktop computers. It was important to our customer that the application should give end users a sense of security and thus build a high level of trust in the system. On the one hand, attention was therefore paid to high usability and security during development, while at the same time focusing on a finely elaborated overall graphical concept for the application. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) or front end of the current prototype therefore appears in the trendy and clean “flat design” look familiar from Windows 8 and Apple devices. Our motto: “Keep it simple and clean” – the end user should not be distracted by unnecessary functions, links and graphics, but should be able to reach their destination with just a few clicks.
